Nov 30, 2006 Cask conditioned @ Guide Dog Soton. Dark ruby brown colour. Nicely malty with hints of roasty liquorice, dried raisins and slight vinous tartness. Some toffeish sweetness in mouth and tasty dusty hops. Its one of those is it a porter is it something else type beers, in the end I decided Winter Warmer was the best description I was likely to think of.
