A harvest bronze Golden Ale, brewed with Challenger, East Kent Goldings and Fuggles Hops to give a fruity citrus bite of hoppiness with a palate of citrus notes and vanilla, leading to a long dry finish. Available all year round.

Flaska 500 ml från Utobeer, London. Klar guldfärgad med ett medelstort vitt skum. Dofter av säd, honung och frukt. Smakinslag av citrus, gräs, säd och toast. Lätt beska i avslutningen. OK men det är allt.

Cask at the GBBF 2015. Low fluffy and quickly disappearing off-white head. Clear amber body. Weak malt caramel aroma. Thinbodied malt straw flavor with a dusty note. Little hops bitternss. Low carbonation, short finish.

As BestivAle @ Camp Bestival, Dorset Decent enough brew, nothing out of the ordinary. I think ’a palate of...vanilla’ might be stretching it somewhat! Nevertheless good tang of citrus and lovely bread/toast backbone.

Cask at Akkurat. Clear golden with some bubbles on top. Muted aroma with some caramel, honey, flowers and citrus. Sweet honey caramel with citrus and sweet apples and a grassy bitter finish that cling on in the aftertaste. Medium bodied, low soft carbonation, a bit oily. A nice thirst quencher, though maybe on the sweet side.

Cask@blackdoor. Light copper. Light floral, malty, bready nose. Soft bittered. Slight earthy, bisquity malty, some citrus green hoppyness. Ok, nothing too remeberable.

Bottle shared at the Waterfront Inn, IoW during the Isle of Wight Jolly. Pours clear yellow-gold with a white head. Light oxidation in the aroma, some bread, caramel. Light sweet flavor, some sugary bread, leafy bitterness, toasty grains. Light in body with fine carbonation. Simple sugary finish with lightly toasted malts, notes of oxidation, grain, caramel. Meh.

Cask at the Clarendon Arms, Cambridge. Clear, light honey brown. Very little head. Scent of nuts, toast, bit of wood shavings. Taste is a crisp, clean bitter with a slight hoppy bite in the finish. Body is fuller than would be expected. This is a very very good basic bitter. Surprisingly good. And that’s my 46 English counties, done in style.
