Cask; Regular. Also available in keg (cold filtered but not pasteurised).
Refreshingly clean, easy-drinking bitter, with a wonderful aroma of freshly-rubbed hops that carries through to a satisfying aftertaste. Also available as a cold-sterile filtered (not pasteurised) kegged beer

Bottle 500ml.
Clear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, toasted, light molasses, light hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20100119]

[Cask at the Windmill Inn, Bembridge] Amber with a small, loose off-white head. Watery with a light lemony aroma and a vague, ill defined dusty hop bitterness in the finish. Disappointing.

This is somehow the clearest drink I have ever seen. Simple sweet malty nose with the tiniest hint of hops deep in there somewhere. Nice and thick with very little carbonation which works well with its laid back nature. It has a nice balance but it has nothing particularly worthy of a note home. Lots of neutral cereals and a honeyed finish with some bitterness.

Cask (The Bell,Whitchurch) - Golden/amber in colour. Lightly hoppy aroma with some grapefruit and tea notes. Refreshing light hoppy notes in the taste with tea and grapefruit featuring again with a malty element. Well balanced.

Cask at the Bargeman’s Rest, Newport, Isle of Wight, 5th Sept 2007 (thanks to the lads at Stainless Games). Strong aroma of fruit and wine, but a bit musty. Clear amber appearance. Rich, malty taste - reminded me of Wadworth 6X. Full bodied but short on the finish. Good enough but not great.

Cask (handpump) , GBBF Day 3, August 2006. Amber colour. Seemed rather short of condition resulting in a slightly dull mouthfeel. Otherwise a pretty standard, slightly earthy British bitter. Not much more to say really. By no means bad but by no means special either.

Cask (GBBF 2006): Quite nice simple nutty malts with earthy hops. Balanced and Morish. I bet they brewed this specially for Trevor.

Cask at GBBF 2006. Copper colour with bubbly beige head. Good floral hop and yeast aroma. OK bitter. Goodish hop on end. Some caramel. In fact I rather like the hop on this and a good start to the Thursday session.
