COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Regular. Also available in keg (cold filtered but not pasteurised).
Refreshingly clean, easy-drinking bitter, with a wonderful aroma of freshly-rubbed hops that carries through to a satisfying aftertaste. Also available as a cold-sterile filtered (not pasteurised) kegged beer

Cask (GBBF 2006): Quite nice simple nutty malts with earthy hops. Balanced and Morish. I bet they brewed this specially for Trevor.

Bottle from Tesco. Burnt orange pour with absolutely no head. This bottle may not have been treated very well. Big skunky metalic smell. Palete is very thin. Flavour is metalic slightly nutty. Worst beer I’ve have in a long time.

Goddards standard ale. Ett bra hantverk men inget som stack ut. Typisk engelsk EKG karaktär.

This is somehow the clearest drink I have ever seen. Simple sweet malty nose with the tiniest hint of hops deep in there somewhere. Nice and thick with very little carbonation which works well with its laid back nature. It has a nice balance but it has nothing particularly worthy of a note home. Lots of neutral cereals and a honeyed finish with some bitterness.

[Cask at the Windmill Inn, Bembridge] Amber with a small, loose off-white head. Watery with a light lemony aroma and a vague, ill defined dusty hop bitterness in the finish. Disappointing.

Cask@lychgatetavern, wolverhampton. Amber coloured, medium head with good lacing. Little aroma. Taste is a dash of pepper and nothing much else. Pretty dull. Not a good beer at all.

Cask at The Bermuda Triangle, Poole, badged as Special Bitter rather than Scrumdiggity; amber-brown; moderate white frothy head; unassuming fruit and malt aroma; fruity ripe citrus flavour balanced by plenty of developing woody hop bitterness; a straightforward, sessionable bitter.

Cask at GBBF 2006. Copper colour. Aroma: Fruity with citric notes. Flavour: Malty with dry finish. Nice

Nice enough in itself but does not inspire. Roadblocks an nose but tastes a bit thin . Hoppy
