2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Rastacouere (5923) - Montréal, - DEC 20, 2005
Clear light golden, faint white head. Full on coriander attacks the nose, hiding a mellow herbal spiciness and totally dominating the aromatic components. Very sweet in mouth, where banana esters try to procure interesting yeast character, extreme coriander levels strike again, reducing the hops to a murmur. Ample carbonation, medium bodied. Under average.

bottle in Bouillon, I believe credited to Brasserie de Bouillon like the Rousse - Pours clear gold with a white head. It has a mild aroma of malt and yeast. The flavor is sweet pale malt with a hint of banana. It’s light to medium bodied and finishes with just a hint of hops but still stays on the sweet side.

Bottle conditioned, 330ml, at The Kings Tavern, Au Roy de la Biere, Sedan, France. Gold beer with white head. A nice find this pub, before visiting the chateau, quite a decent beer list. The beer is sweet and spicy, and i’m getting pretty cheesed with spice in beer now, sticky and somewhat lacking in finish. Average.
