OK, no jokes with cotton wool in the cheeks and references to errant nephews or members of the family who have disgraced me. In fact the bottle looks lik it is blessed by a saint. Fair enough because I refer to the son of God as well. Bjeezus, what another poor effort from a country that prides itself on fantastic food but clearly not a good alcoholic beverage to accompany. If this was given to Don Corleone the hapless waiter would be modelling the latest in cement shoes. Ya know?

Bottled. Clear golden, small fizzy head. Fruity and very salty. Medium bodied. Rice and alcohol is less prominent than in many other strong Indian lagers. Salty licorice dominate the finish.

Brewed by Rainbow Breweries Ltd, Shiwar for Devans Modern Breweries Ltd. Yellow, small white head. Aroma has vinegar, grapefruit sweetness and sticky alcohol. Taste has a barley mash - white-wineous cider-like palate and plum booze from Balkans. Certain East European bulk lager touch here.
