500 ml bottle. Reddish, dark copper body with a thin beige head. Very nice aroma of roasted malt, coffee and caramel. Flavor is sweet roasted malt, fruity, coffee and a good bitterness. A pleasant and well-balanced porter.

Very dark mahogony brown with a thin light tan covering.
Nose is light roast, hint of cocoa, dark toffee fudge, earthy, brown sugars.
Taste comprises cocoa, toffee fudge, earthy roastness.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, lgiht roast in the finish.
A pretty basic porter - whelming!

Cask handpull at the Grape and Grain- Crystal Palace Spring Beer Festival, 2013. Dark brown pour with a reddish tint and a diminishing beige head. Dark fruit and raisin aroma. Flavours of prunes, raisins, toffee and licorice. Bitter-roast finish.

Cask at GBBF 2012, London. Pours dark brown with a creamy tan head. Burnt grass nose, some charred malts. Light to medium sweet flavor with burnt sugar and wood, some baking cocoa. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Dry finish with more baking cocoa, moderate roast, dry burnt wood. Good.

GBBF. Opaque dark brown - black beer. Little tan head. Smooth dry palate. Tangy dark malts, stands out from the crowd by having well integrated mild coffee. Very subtle dark fruits. Lactose. Easy drinking.

Cask @ GBBF ’12. The pour’s deep brown with a tiny white head. The nose is light coffee cake, some cola and raspberry chocolate sauce. The taste is light coca cola, some nutty chocolate, kinder bueno and burning coffee. Rich. Medium body, very drinkable. Great stuff for the light ABV.

Cask Conditioned handpump Malt Shovel Northampton. A black beer with a little beige head. Lots of coffee in the nose. Roasty too. Bitter and roasty taste. A bit of fruit behind the coffee in the nose. a good beer which is a stout in my book. Very dry.

nose is a cluster of ..roast chocolate malts... winey raisins dancing in the air
tastes like a full bodied Porter should . Good construct.
