Cask & Bottle Conditioned, Seasonal, Winter;
A very dark ruby red tinted beer with powerful chocolate malt aromas and a hint of vanilla. Very smooth, very rich dry malt flavours with a subtle hoppiness. A classic winter porter. Available in cask and bottle conditioned. Seasonal - November/December.

Bottle , Cardinal, Stavanger. Black colour with a tan head. Aroma is dry, coffee, cocoa, fruit. Flavour is dry, coffee, chocolate, roastiness, fruit, hop. Easy drinkable nice beer.

Cask Conditioned handpump Malt Shovel Northampton. A black beer with a little beige head. Lots of coffee in the nose. Roasty too. Bitter and roasty taste. A bit of fruit behind the coffee in the nose. a good beer which is a stout in my book. Very dry.

The color is mahogany-red and the headis creamy. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, caramel, licorice and hints of butterscotch and ashes. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of roasted malt, licorice, caramel and the finish is rather dry with notes of bitter licorice. It’s quite nice.

Clear dark brown color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, caramel, chocolate, light vanilla. Bottled@The 1st Vaasa CS/ES beer session (thanks JP). Very deep ruby red colour, close to black, with a small beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, some coffee, mild chocolate as well as some slight nuttyness. Flavour is quite much the same with also some smoked wet wood and mild vanillaish notes. Semi-bitter finish.

A dark brown colored beer, with a thick foamy beige head. The aroma of malts with chocolate and a little bitter. The taste is bitter with some caramel. There is fruit, some sweet and hints of chocolate. A little dry. The aftertaste of chocolate with some bitter and notes of sweet.
