Mid brown amber colour slightly rich on the palate. Fruity. Some dryness and bitterness in the finish.

Dec 7, 2004 Cask conditioned at The Royal Standard, Wooburn Common. Dark, somewhat watery brew with some fruit/malt and a sour tang. It’s rather nice, but nothing outstanding.

Feb 27, 2004 Cask Conditioned at Stones, Chipping Norton. Dark brown beer with plum hint. This is a sweet and then slightly sour beer. Sweet chocolate malts with darker roast notes. Short cloying finish.
