Cask at Spoons, Milton Keynes. Gold with a small white head. Sweet malty aroma. Pleasantly sweet malty taste with some citrus and some bitterness. Quite enjoyed this, but I had other things on my mind, like would I get a parking ticket for stopping outside the pub.

Cask in the wetherspoon woodgreen. Alround rating: Cloudy?, yeasty, appley, musty old cellar, not a hottie at all.

A Mes rate: cask at Baker Street ’Sporks. Very clean golden blonde with a decent white head. Slight egg and metal in the aroma but some reasonable creamy malt underneath just about keeps it on track. Good fruity hops in the mouth with some nice lemon and grapefruit and a strong bready malt base. Assertive bitterness in the finish with plenty of bite. Not bad, not amazing.

UPDATED: SEP 18, 2008 Cask-conditioned at the Bag ONails, Bristol 11/9/08. Deep gold in colour with no head. Aroma of caramel with a touch of red fruit. Easy drinking with sweet malts, some earthy hops and a short, bitter finish. Merely Ok.

Cask conditioned at Merton Summer Beer Festival September 2004. Nice light golden coloured beer, a bit thin and dry but really quite hoppy and very pleasant.

Hand pulled at the Anchor, Birmingham. Golden beer, with a cm head (looks like lager). Plastic/greaseproof paper aroma. Very dry especially in the finish; before then its green leaves (off hops), slightly cabbagey. A bit thin and not very juicy.

Cask Conditioned at Merton Beer Festival ’04. Pale straw coloured with a thin head. Thin on the palate but a strongly hoped dry bitter, very lightly malted and perhaps aome apple in he backgound. I sometimes struggle with Goffs, but this was quite a decent brew.
