Black, little carbonation or head. THe only one of the brews at this place worth drinking. Some roast and choc aroma and flavour. more of a stout than an ale. Good body.

This was the best of the half dozen beers that this brewery produces. Deep dark brown colour, burnt nose with a nice smooth bitterness. The hops is also noticeable in the taste.

A lot like Carlton Black, but it has some body and choc, banana flavours. Pretty good.

Typical dark homebrew syrup style. Maybe I got a hallertau burp. A bit stale. Choc or roast malts very obvious. Not too bad though. Some blood.

Thank god this was at least OK, given the general crappy nature of the beers this brewer produces. Some roastyness happening. Some brown sugar aswell. Really thin mouthfeel, short flavour, but, i wasn't expectiing much.

nfob03. the first beer i tasted at the national festival of beers. quite a mild stout, pleasantly black. minimal sweetness, faint asphalt in the aroma. doesn't really go anywhere or do anything interesting
