pootzboy (855), Calgary/ Kitchener, Alberta, Canada Jun 12, 2006 Updated: Oct 23, 2006Popured a clear copper color into the glass. 1 finger cap reduces soon to a surface lace, laces the glass modestly. Spritzy carbonation.
Medium-light body, modest malt spine,... soft, watery mouthfeel.
Some light caramel sweetness and light toasty grains at the start in balance with softly bitter hopping... fast dry finish , no after taste.
Unoffensive but soft bordering on watery character.
Sammy (2945), Toronto, Ontario, Canada May 6, 2004 must refrigerate. An OK beer. Appearance would be enhanced with labels staying on bottle, but pale clear color OK.. STill high on carbonation. A bit malty but otherwise no memorable taste. Lubiere (3123), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Nov 6, 2003 The nose is lemony, like lemon pledge, but not citrusy. Not a whole lot of body, almost watery, I agree with tart malt, this may go bad quickly, no hops, no character nothing! Its funny, I remembered this beer to be quite good back in the early 90s, when i was living in that area...oh well! CapFlu (3242), Victoria, British Columbia, Canada Oct 26, 2003 (Bottle) Pours a medium, off-yellow head and a well carbonated, copper body with slight sedimentation. Lemony nose. Fizzy. Very young flavour to it: higly tart malt and lingering bitterness. Below average. Crit (2203), New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada Jan 4, 2003 Carmelized nose. Overly sweet carmel flavor. Very bland and unremarkable
