Bottle from Getränke Beck in Reutlingen. The beer pours out in a deep dark brown / blackish colour with steady low head and medium body. Aroma of malt and barley with hints of torf. Taste of roasted malt, bread, barley, woods, leaves, nuts and torf. Earthy finish. Solid Dunkel, enjoyed it.

Poured from 500 ml bottle in the Hotel Mainl in Neu-Ulms, Germany. Hazy, medium-dark brown with a 2-finger khaki head and good lacing. Aroma of raisins, prunes, dark malt, caramel and toffee. Taste of dark fruit, raisins, caramel, sweet dark malt and mild earthy herbal hops. Medium body and medium carbonation with a smooth mouthfeel. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Thanks to quack-duck for that one! Bottle looks old styled but good. Beer in the glass dark brown, nice head. Starts intense malty, fine roasty with interesting caramel notes. A bit sourish. Finish more spicy, still intense malty. Great beer!

It’s dark brown with a huge, creamy head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, nuts, caramel and the moderately sweet flavor is well balanced and rich with notes of caramel, nuts, roasted malt, hints of dark syrup. The finish in this extremely nice dunkel is slightly dry.

Bottle 50cl, a cloudy amber brown beer with huge creamy head. Nose is on caramel and chocolate malt with brown bread notes. Aroma is grainy, nice naturtrub malty / bread notes, light sourish background, sweet, caramel and vanilla touch a good dunkel. Finish is on caramel and light metallic, low hops, good one.

bottle from Rewe Giengen an der Brenz. Hazy deep brown colour, small but creamy beige head. Sweet malty aroma with a yeasty touch. Medium-bodied, lovely malty base with chocolate, caramel and roasetd flavours. Shy hoppy finish and a nice yeasty overall touch that copmplements the caramelly sweetness perfectly round this beer off perfectly. Very smooth and velvety palate. A pleasant surprise - anytime again!
