A metal smell, that doesn’t appear in the taste. Sweet bitter taste, not in balance. Dry aftertaste but no depth. Mediocre helles.

At the first sight the original "Ulm’s liquid gold" is a real sore in the eye. What a beautiful clear... well, golden color and a huge bright white head! But in my opinion it tastes too watery. The hops aroma
is not a real part of this beer and the malt flavour also is really poor. You can consume it as a refreshment on hot summer days. But there are better alternatives. And i write these lines, despite "Gold Ochen"

It’s golden with a white, dense head. The aroma has notes of malt and a little straw - a little watery. The mouthfeel is flat. The flavor has a light sweetness and notes of malt, straw and flower - is a bit thin bodied.

Bottle by 17.10.12. Nose simple malt, slightest hint of Dortmunder metal, and perfumed floral hops, which recede a bit in the mouth behind the wispy light malt. Pale clear golden body with a rocky bright white head, gentle light body and moreish.

Bottled.The head pour quite fluffy but fades away after a couple of mins.The color is a light yellowish with a watered down look to it.Aroma Artificial apple juice,sparkling cider with flavors of,watered down apple cider,pear,green grapes and peace.If you’re gonna drink this,be sure to drinks this extra cold!
