3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 mjs (3617) - Helsinki, FINLAND - NOV 27, 2009
(Bottle at OPP German weeks ’09) Poured pale golden and clear with small white head. Aroma was hoppy, grassy and lightly metallic. Palte was medium bodied and dry with medium carbonation. Tasted of malts, hops, grass, bitterness and grain. Hoppy and bitter aftertaste. The colour made me a bit suspicious so the very clear and nice hoppiness was indeed a pleasant surprise.

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Tastes strong and dry, good use of hops. Finish shows notes of wheat. Could be a little bit more spicy, but still a good beer!
2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 jbrus (4992) - Delft, NETHERLANDS - DEC 27, 2005
Bottled. Grainy and skunky hop aroma. Pale golden color, white irregular head, few lace. Very bitter start, maltsweet finish, in the finish the bitterness stays but way less and it’s also a little warming. Another too sweet lager that they sell as Christmas beer. I still don’t get it.
