Sampled at Casa Nova, Jaffa. Great beer, the oak-chips gives it an extra dimention. Amber coloured and almost clear. Has an off-white head, medium duration. Aroma has notes of wood, vanilla, faint smoke besides from the malty, sweet notes. Flavor starts heavy sweet, more wood and vanilla. Creamy texture and soft to flat carbonation.

Bottle. Slightly hazy deep amber-red color with a stable medium beige head. Aroma of malt, wood, smoke, caramel, some cherries notes and a bit of alcohol. Flavor starts sweetish with malt, caramel, a bit of smoke, a bit of fruitiness, some wood and roasty notes. Finishes drier, alcoholic and a bit spicy, with some hoppy bitterness and smokey notes. Medium-full-bodied. Well-done.
