STEPHENDR (478), California, USA Jun 17, 2006 Dull gold appearance – no head - nose honey, cream, yeast, and nutmeg - taste lime, smoke, and cream – aftertaste sour but good Sledge Jr (2720), Omaha, Nebraska, USA Jul 29, 2004 In the bottle at the 2004 Crescent Moon Vintage Beer Tasting. This was from the late 80’s and was still fantastic! It was like drinking a homebrew. Big malt flavor and good hop overtones. Sad that this did not make it. ericnixon (711), Lenox, Massachusetts, USA May 20, 2003 Updated: Aug 8, 2005Nice golden, almost amberish color. Nice aroma. The flavor was wonderful with a nuttyness taste to it. i loved it! one of my favorites. beerguy101 (3488), Newark, California, USA Jan 11, 2003 Light gold color. Small to no head. Aroma is malty with a slight touch of butterscotch. Not your typical tasting lager. Malty with a nice crisp finish. Kind of sweet. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and dry. Aftertaste is sweet. Crit (2242), New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada Dec 23, 2002 Slight yeasty nose.Toffee malt palate with crisp hop finish
