ChristianScheffel (2104), Odense, Denmark Aug 29, 2008 Pale yellow with a lasting white head. Weak malty aroma with a citrus note. Sour cardboard and malt flavour. KnutAlbert (2178), Oslo, Norway Aug 11, 2008 1,5 litre PET, licence brewed in Croatia.
Very pale lager, thin and watery. When you find local beers in Southern Europe with German-sounding names with umlaut, it is not a sign of quality! DSG (850), Yuvalim, Israel Aug 9, 2008 (6/29/08) Bottle sample at RBESG08 grand tasting in Plzen. Clear golden. Aroma is quite grainy. Sweetish rather cerealy flavor. Light-bodied. DruncanVeasey (1633), Burbage, Leicestershire, England Aug 3, 2008 Scraping the bottom of the Croatian supermarket barrel now. Gave in eventually and basketed a 1.5L park bench plastic bottle in Studenac. Hop aroma detectable- sweaty, grassy, slightly herbal. Hisses and then dies. Head gone in minutes. Coniferous cardboardy noble hoppage, pale peanutty malt, maize and astringency. Pretty much how you’d expect a 14KN plastic bottle of lager to taste. Aromas of corn, cabbage and sideboard. Assumes an undrinkable headless stillness like it’s been left out in the rain all night. 250ml might be drinkable, 1500ml is not.
