I'm now drinking the last of my stash of Finnish beers and perries. This perry is typically sweet (too much so), but the ciders/perries I had in Helsinki are all like this for some reason. There is less pear taste here than in some other perries and a nasty saccharine sweetness pervades throughout.

Draught at the AlePub bar. Extremely light yellow body. Pear and glue in the nose. Sweet relatively tasty simple pear taste. Too juice-like but surprisingly drinkable.

sweet and fruity. clear greenish colour. aroma of artificial pear. bubbly. easy to drink.

Bottle 33 cl, Alko Loimaa. Pours plae yellow with no head. Aroma is artificially sweet and pears. Flavor is crispy, slightly acidy, sweet and perry. Finishes short and sweet. Nothing to shout about.

Draught on Tallinn link Seacat between Helsinki and Tallinn. Pale drink with a light apple juice aroma and a very sweet apple juice flavour that is not very dry and tastes medicinal. Overall a very, very poor drink.

Can from Scandinavian shop in Brussels. Clear body with thin light green hues, slightest of head. Nose is sweet of chopped pears and candy. Texture is carbonated, like a soda. Taste not much better. of pears, apples and sugar. Easy to drink, but not my thing.

Clear light yellow to clear light cristal color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate sweet pear, artificial pear. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, artificial sweet pear syrup. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20100704]

Draught in Rovenemi.Slight lemon colour without a head. Aroma like well... pears. Taste is very sweet indeed. It is sort of like if you left the juice from a tin of pears in the fridge for too long. Itgets to the point where it starts to ferment and become slightly fizzy. This perry is like that.

Almost clear as water. small white head. aroma of perfume and pear liqeur. flavor of pear juice, semi-sweet, alcohol, no acidity. i like ciders to tate fermented / acid /dry i aloso dislike the distinct taste of vodka or tequila in my cider. i also dont like finnish beverages. this one fails on all accounts.

Plastic Bottle (0.45 litres). Greyish yellow colour, small white head. Aroma is pear and mild notes of apples and sugar. Flavour is rather sweet perry, yet not overly sweet. Well, for a perry not too good...
