COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Adler is the German word for Eagle. Also German are the generous helping of Spalt Hops, which are complimented by Czech Saaz. Both are noble hop varieties which are more often found in lagers. Canterbury ale malt and an English ale yeast adds the difference. Prost, Cheers, Na zdravi.

Beautiful butterscotch honey aromas. First taste dies on the palate very quickly. Tastes like a sweet, put of date lager not a golden ale ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

first time i had it apparently a bunch of out of date bottles where discreetly tipped into a handpull bag. got good comments. dough and spices completely dominated everything, which in its own way was rather nice. next time a proper bottle was purchased, with the yeast mostly gone but the spices still wonderfully prevalent. a light beer for sure, but still nicely flavoursome. on a summer day this would work perfectly as a replacement for those boring old lagers.

Slightly hazy golden colour with a white head. The aroma, the aroma, the aroma: for a start there’s plenty of it. This is a gloriously aromatic ale whose aroma upon opening was that of passionfruit pulp (seeds and all) and then there was spices of ginger and garam masala. All through there was a tropical fruit salad and golden malt aroma that invited another, deeper sniff. Cool and a little sweet tasting at first and then awash with borage honey flavours. A second taste reveals more of the tropical fruits and spices and then the honey comes back again around the sides and back of the tongue. There is an enduring finish thanks to those honey flavours and then just a brief referral of spicy bitterness. It’s easy to write about this beer because there’s plenty going on in the glass. While I’m not an enormous fan of honeyed flavours, it is hard not to give this beer the mark it deserves.
