A light beer that manages to maintain a full bodied flavour and a long, smooth bitter finish. A great showcase of the magnificent Citra hop.

Draft. Very clear, light yellow colour. At first I enjoyed the citrus aroma and dry hop flavours. However, after about a quarter of a pint a distinct off aroma & flavour of burnt clutch pad / burning rubber became apparent. My companions noticed it too. Hopefully this was a bad batch, but I was unable to finish it.

Handpull at South Island beer fest. Light & cloudy in the glass with lacy white head & lots of grapefruit. Nice.

The head is ok, the body light blond. It smells citra-citrus, hoppy, aromatic, a bit flowery. The taste is citra, citrus, hop-aromatic, bit malty. Nice! 3.6

From handpull at Volstead in excellent company. Although the light wasn’t terrific, this beer appears very pale yellow with a good collar of white head that kept all the way to the bottom of the glass. The aroma was of zesty, juicy lemon and oranges all over. A real summery drop with those same flavours and almost sour bitterness, like taking a bite out of a lemon. Refreshing, puckering, and best of all, sessionable. A good quenching go to pint on a sultry summer night.
