2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 omhper (15964) - Stockholm, - DEC 27, 2002
Canned. This is a real mess. First - this beer comes with a name that is bound to be used by 60 or so breweries. Secondly - the name of the brewer is withheld by purpose, as after Carlsberg took over Sweden’s two largest breweries it was ruled by the EU that they had a big share of the Swedish beer market and thus in a monopoly situation. What they did was they continued to brew all their brands but some were sold by a different company, namely the fake brewery ’Three Towns Independent Brewers’. This is one of those... Anyway. The beer itself is far from a poor effort. It pours pale golden with very little head, and has a fairly nice flowery aroma. It is clean and medium bodied with quite a bitter finish.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Papsoe (22983) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - APR 27, 2005
UPDATED: JUN 29, 2005 (Can 50 cl) Expecting a typical Swedish lager, this one confused me as it didn’t really behave like one. Straw golden colour. Scent like a Belgian "Triple" and taste like a "Triple" - only lighter. Pleasant surprise. Thanks to omhper for the information. The can doesn’t really tell much. If this is still on the market look it up - a rare Swedish ale. 280703

Canned. From the beginning it wasn’t very funny: boring name, stupid design of the can with sulky white-headed eagle... But it turned to be a wheat ale in Belgian tradition! Quite evident taste of wheat malt, light tartness, straw colour and thin head. A real surprise from Pripps.
1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 ante (3375) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - FEB 6, 2004
Pale golden with a medium-sized head. Yeasty and metallic aroma. Thin flavour. Yeasty, metallic with notes of pear. Ok, Pripps brews an ale but this stuff is just bland and boring. (surprise!)
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 Kåstå (1221) - Mol, BELGIUM - APR 29, 2003
Very blond beer with a small head. hoppy and slightly fruity aroma. Not a great beer but interestingly odd. There is a bit of liquorice or sal ammoniac taste to it. Light bitter finish.
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 KalleBass (18) - Helsingborg, SWEDEN - APR 2, 2003
Not much of a head. Nice, flowery aroma and a finish that is somewhat bitter. Reminds of Belgian Blond, with less body though. The namne is confusing, and there´s no info about the content.
1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 Ingevara (662) - SWEDEN - FEB 17, 2003
A daring experiment (to be Swedish), but a big disappointment, I thought it was an English or Scottish style of ale, but it was Belgian. Yuck!
