Just cracking the can open now - a perfect reminder to the AMAZING beer available in Hong Kong - which I’ll surely try more of when I return in a few months...Super pale golden coloured body with a sopay white head that actually looks nice - no joke there. The colour isn’t horrible, but it’s not amazing either. Aroma of funky malt, cardboard, lemons and a hind of hops - not horrible here either. Super-light-bodied; Lemony and effervescent malty flavour with some mild cardboard and subtle rice in the mix. Aftertaste is clean and not harsh at all - no alcohol detected and nothing aside from water. Overall, not a good beer, but to be honest - nothing offensive at all. Some mild malt, a touch of lemons and a watery flavour will actually not do bad things in the summers in Hong Kong! I sampled this 330 mL can purchased at a 7-11 on Nathan Road, in Kowloon, Hong Kong, China on 29-July-2006, sampled at home in Washington on 19-April-2009.

Medium white coarseish head. Clear golden body with light carbonation. I think I can detect an aroma of something vaguely maize-like. Maybe. Dry, and somewhat sweet, grainy wet straw taste with dusty mealy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy, coarseish mouthfeel. Dryish mealy grainy papery aftertaste with grassy cardboard notes. Not really very nice. (0.33l can, Wellcome, Lohas Park, Hong Kong.)

golden our like king for sure. Thick white head. Dense and aromatic of cleaners. Weak, watery malt and hop aroma and flavor. An awesome product of mass production.

(can) from a store in Hong Kong, can states "Product of Vietnam"; clear pale yellow with tall white head, aroma starts floral, very simple flavour with light bitter metallic finish, pretty nasty overall and gets worse every minute after you open the can

Canned@omhper. Pale yellowish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is bready, grainy and quite salty. Flavour is quite much the same along with some certain fruityness as well. Gets more horrid and buttery rubbered when it warms up.

UPDATED: AUG 3, 2010 Canned, thanks lgklotet! Clear golden, minimal head. Light vegetable aroma. Sweet an fruity, buttery with sloppy mouthfeel no hops nor bitterness. Certainy not god, but also quite inoffensive.

Light clear golden with high carbonation white head that quickly disappears. Plastic and cereal aroma. Sweet malt, citrus, corn...unappealing flavour. Light body and watery. Not good.

Can. Gold and clear with no head, some bubbles. Smells like dirty socks, is sour, malodorous, and sulfuric. Medium carbonation and a thin palate. Sweet-sour flavor profile lingers and is not very good.

Golden colour. No head. Maybe, just maybe, a shade of hop in the non-aroma. Somewhat malty with a hint of hop on the palate. Fair bit of sulphur emerges as it warms. Still, for forty cents it’s not so bad.

Has almost no head and the colour is boring yellow, with some slight carbonation. Aroma is of dirty armpits. Flavour is an okay mix of grains and syrup, some sweetness and fruitiness. Rather boring.

Can from Hong Kong. Yellow colored brew. Aroma is just awfull. Flavor is not good either. Some rice, dishwater, cardboard, malts. Yuk.
