1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Can shared at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Clear pale golden. Aroma has some graininess, some green apple and a bit of metallic hints. Flavor has some grains, a bit of acetaldehyde, and a slightly metallic finish. Light-bodied. Could be worse.

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
A slightly skunky tinny aroma come from this crystal clear pale yellow beer with a white head and manny rising bubbles. An almost crisp glorified club soda with a hint of grainy alcohol come from this medium/light bodied brew. Overall for a lager its pretty average.

33 cl can from a supermarket in Rethymnon.Pours clear straw colored with a small creamy white head. Aroma is grainy malts, burnt plastic and cooked vegetables. Taste is light sweet grainy, moderate bitter dry end, peppery and spicy hops. A winner on a hot summer day, as today.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
33cl can from a small supermarket in Lindos. Pours the usual pale golden with a small, white head. Weak aroma with notes of grain and hints of hops and cooked vegetables. Brewed and canned by Mythos brewery and I would actually prefer this to the infamous Mythos. Medium sweet and grainy with cooked vegetanles and hints of hops. Weak in flavour but slightly more balancef and not as unpleasant as Mythos. Standard pale lager that goes down quite easy in the heat.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
[317-20070522] 330mL. Wheaty straw aroma. Clear, golden orange body with some medium-sized bubbles and a quick foamy white head. Same wheaty straw flavour with a hint of apple. Light-medium body. Typical lager, seems to soften the Ouzo.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: AUG 21, 2006 ’Genuine Greek quality lager beer.’ I’m shuddering in anticipation. Have been dreading drinking this one a bit, but the (60c) bottle pops open with a blast of fruity hops. Big soapy suds top a clear gold body. Sweet and malty, if a little watery and metallic. But at 40p a pint, who’s complaining?

<!-- i -->sampled in Creta<!-- /i --> - pale golden colour and a non persistent foam; paperboard dominates in a nose of fat and discreet hoppiness; rather sweet and oily mouthfeel with a high carbonation; the finish is corny with some residual sugars - not terrible
