1.7 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20 DeanF (1489) - Iqaluit, - AUG 31, 2009
Foul smell here of corn starch, alcohol, tinniness and a slight hint of dirty socks. Has a bright yellow colour, almost gold, but not quite. Some head, but it dissipates faster than I can type this. Taste is of grains with a bready aftertaste. Could be a lot worse, so I was surprised that it tasted not too awful. Still, this is a pretty weak entry to the pilsener market.
1.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20 Travlr (5400) - Washington, Washington DC, USA - AUG 30, 2011
Can courtesy of S.C, thank you ma’am! Very pale yellow, huge fluffy white head, good lacing. Aroma of light straw and citrus. Taste is bitter cardboard. What does semi-premium mean, anyway?

1.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20 Bierkrug (1666) - Idar-Oberstein (In East Africa), Rhineland-Palatinate, GERMANY - MAR 15, 2011
500 ml can in Niger. Pours the standard lager yellow with soft fast to go head. Aroma cardboard and sweet malt. Taste is the standard here in Africa plus the "leave it out in the hot sun for storage factor" Palate is non offensive but not that great either. If you are wondering why I am not able to give details on this stuff it is because it is really hard to pull much from this beer.
2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 RichardGretton (3759) - Leicestershire, ENGLAND - FEB 20, 2011
Bottle@Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. Bronze / dark golden beer with a mildly yeasty and malty aroma. The flavour is long lastingly dry and watery. Overall a plain but OK lager like pilsner named beer.
2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 espenra (665) - Kurland, NORWAY - MAY 23, 2010
33cl can at Bushman’s Rock. 3.8 abv. It poured a yellow colour with a big white foamy head. Aroma is sweet with notes of corn. Flavour is watery with Notes of grass and corn again. Too thin and watery, but I can tick off another beer on the list.

Bottled. Pale golden, minimal head. A vague hint of spicy hops can be noted in the aroma. Light bodied with watery mouthfeel. Very easy going and unremarkable, but without off-flavours.
