COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
For the Spring 2014 Release in our Custom IPA Series we’ve partnered with the LA River Revitalization Corp to brew 2020 IPA—a dark red IPA, with a rich pine aroma, light roast, all balanced by a hearty hop bitterness. 2020 IPA celebrates the Greenway 2020 Project, which will connect 51 miles of the LA River—transforming it from a neglected, concrete riverbed to a connected, public green space by the year 2020.

Great aroma - too malt heavy for me for top marks but the hops are superb - strong herbal pine - a good drink.

Pours dark amber in colour. Very prominent aroma, 1st comes the piney resinous hit, then toasted caramel. Smells sweet, and tastes accordingly, but not sickly. Nice bitterness, maybe a bit more would be nice. Nice malt backbone! Nice roasted flavour, with the hops to guide you through all the way. Would buy again. $9.99 a can from Celebrations Carlisle

Pours out a dullish red but with a nice frothy head. Cloudy. Smells good- tropical fruits and herbs. Malt is really well balanced and well supported by the hops. Very good, if a little two-dimensional

Canned from Trader Joe’s. Dank bitter hoppiness. Not super crisp, but fairly clean with a nice hoppy finish. Well hopped but not an over the top hop flavor.

Highly drinkable yet strong IPA. Impressive hops and impressive strong ale palate. Doesn't pack much aroma nor a complex palate. Can in SoCal Costco. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

16 oz can poured. Thanks to Keven for sharing. A little past the best by, but still good. I love a beer with a story behind it. I hope proceeds go to help . Dark copper pour with a foaming head. Hop heavy aroma, and a nice toasty malt, and piney flavor throughout. Cool finish. Quite tasty.
