A more traditional English-style brown, emphasizing sweetness and a smoked malt flavoring.

There's a bit of a roasted, coffee flavor to go along with the malts that puts this above most browns. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Canned from Windy City. Deep ruby on the pour. Sweet chocolate nose. A touch of roast and some tootsie roll. Sweet chocolate up front with a bit of roasted coffee bitterness. Pretty good coffee roast to it. Nice brown.

On tap at lax airport. With choices like bud light, shock too and Stella, this was the clear standout. Just ok. Would not order again given other quality options. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Smoked roasted malt is a nice touch but is a bit underwhelming until it opens up and warms.

Can. Pours deep brown with a thin a beige head. Nutty sweet malts, hints of toffee, light grain, and low bitterness. Not bad.

Aluminum can from Sprout’s: Poured dark leather brown which was propped with frothy topping of foam head that left behind plenty of lacing. Aroma was mild yet pleasant with a scent of lightly toasted malts and touch of assorted nuts that have been roasted. The flavor is bland and has a minor toasty nut flavor but other than that it’s dull and reminds me of wet cardboard at moments.

Pours a clear dark amber color with a light taupe head. A bit of brown sugar and medium roast barley nose. Mouthfeel is slick and filling, but yields to stop carbonation scrub and hop heat. Sweetness gets overcome with bitterness. Average.

Draft at LAX. Aroma is of carmel malt. Appearance is a thick brown with a little thin, white head. The taste starts an almost dry, dark/carmel malt flavor then rolls into a sweet sour malt flavor. Palate is a little sour in the back of the roof of da mouff. Overall, a decent brown. There are better out there, but decent. Would be higher rating if the aftertaste was less. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured very dark brown. Sweet, malty aromas with a toasty, coffee flavor to follow leaving a slight roast taste on the palate. Decent although this one had a bit of a porter style to it.
