Draft at LAX. Aroma is of carmel malt. Appearance is a thick brown with a little thin, white head. The taste starts an almost dry, dark/carmel malt flavor then rolls into a sweet sour malt flavor. Palate is a little sour in the back of the roof of da mouff. Overall, a decent brown. There are better out there, but decent. Would be higher rating if the aftertaste was less.

Poured very dark brown. Sweet, malty aromas with a toasty, coffee flavor to follow leaving a slight roast taste on the palate. Decent although this one had a bit of a porter style to it.

Pours a deep dark brown with an off white head. Aroma of sweet caramel malts, chocolate and dates. Taste is raisins and dates, caramel and sweet brown sugar. A bit too sweet for my liking. Not bad if this is your thing.

Aroma: skunky.
Appearance: Beautiful clear brown with a large thick head.
Flavor: Roasted malt with some coffee notes and very little hop bitterness.
Palate: Light bodied with soft carbonation.
Overall: I like the roastiness, but nothing else really seems to be going on.

Aromas of vanilla, flaked rye and liquid yeast. Appears a brown with a reddish tint. Flavor brings fairly deep caramel, nut, and roasted malt flavor. Finish leaves you with an off-dry hop presence. Overall, not bad. nutty overtones. I’d give this a B rating.
