The two-row pale malt body takes a back seat to the Citra, Centennial, and New Zealand hops for a bright, citrus forward, summertime drinking IPA. Part of the proceeds from this beer will be donated to our hardworking friends at Heal the Bay - an organization committed to restoring and protecting the Southern California coastal waters and watershed.

Can from mane liquor. Overwhelming tropical aromas, but mainly that lovely golden circle orange/pine fruit drank you used to have in your lunch box at primary school. Rich caramel, and toffee tasting notes alongside hints of the aforementioned tropical-ness. Quite thin in the mouth, which is surprising given the powerful punch of flavour.

Into a chalice chilled. Pastel, yellow gold and misty in appearance. Head is fluffy, light and snow-white in tone. Holds for a few minutes but dwindles to a thin wafer. Nose has notes of straw and haybales, honeydew, lychee and pear with a sweetness of caramelised stone-fruit coming through. Quite dry and parching passed the mid-palate. Medium-light too light in body with moderate carbonation. Dry, pale malt leads to a weedy, peppery bitter peak that trails off with a slight sourness and touch of citrus. A subdued fruit sweetness resides briefly between sips, similar to that of the nose. Pretty easy going and laid back as far as IPA’s. Clean, sessionable. (50cL can, Canned 05/08/14, The Liquor Shed, Jandakot)
