COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The two-row pale malt body takes a back seat to the Citra, Centennial, and New Zealand hops for a bright, citrus forward, summertime drinking IPA. Part of the proceeds from this beer will be donated to our hardworking friends at Heal the Bay - an organization committed to restoring and protecting the Southern California coastal waters and watershed.

Golden, light white head. Very carbonated. Somewhat like a real bitter coors. Nice that it is in a can. There are better IPAs out there, as there are worse.

From the can. Bitter pine and sweet malt in the aroma. Taste is assertive bitterness with a heavy sweet malt backbone. Slightly coating mouthfeel. Okay.

Can from mane liquor. Overwhelming tropical aromas, but mainly that lovely golden circle orange/pine fruit drank you used to have in your lunch box at primary school. Rich caramel, and toffee tasting notes alongside hints of the aforementioned tropical-ness. Quite thin in the mouth, which is surprising given the powerful punch of flavour.

Into a chalice chilled. Pastel, yellow gold and misty in appearance. Head is fluffy, light and snow-white in tone. Holds for a few minutes but dwindles to a thin wafer. Nose has notes of straw and haybales, honeydew, lychee and pear with a sweetness of caramelised stone-fruit coming through. Quite dry and parching passed the mid-palate. Medium-light too light in body with moderate carbonation. Dry, pale malt leads to a weedy, peppery bitter peak that trails off with a slight sourness and touch of citrus. A subdued fruit sweetness resides briefly between sips, similar to that of the nose. Pretty easy going and laid back as far as IPAs. Clean, sessionable. Can from Mane Liquor. Nice roadie on the way to Drews. Its pretty bloody solid. Wolf among the weeds is killer so this has a fair bit of living up to do and it sits in there nicely. Quite tropical and punchy with mild pepper and citrus rind. Drinks very easy for the abv and has plenty of flavour in a balanced fashion. Tasty drop

Pint can. Pours a clear straw colour with a big dence white head. Big grassey/ grapefruit aroma, more of a resinous pine in the flavour. This beer screams hops and malt take a back seat, in fact i think it missed the bus all together.

Can. Gold with a white head. Aroma of melon, Meyer lemon, some gooseberry, grass. Reminds me a fair bit of Oakham Citra. Light bodied, high carbonation. Bittersweet with tropical fruit, peach, lemon, white pepper. Finish is dry and fairly bitter. Good, but not sure why its so strong for the flavours.

Yellow foggy pour from 22oz can. White thin head. Lemon and tangy aroma. Juicy and citrus lemon taste with a bitter finish. Good shit.

Taster at Hopgeist 2014. From a 16oz can. Clear golden color. Fine particles suspended in the body. Thin ring of off-white head, leaving good spread of lace. Medium body. Smooth, kind of crisp lighter carbonation. More dry finish. Good kind of piney clean mildly citrusy hoppy aroma. Mildly grassy, good clean bready malt. Moderate to bigger bitter taste, lighter sweet. Easy-drinking yet satisfyingly hoppy. Impressive, bright IPA.

IPA???? well no!!! Not much of anything going on. Taste like a half water half Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. Was hoping for more considering the hop additions.

very nice IPA, the aroma is piney, citrus and a bit of funk which is great. Im drinking it straight out of the 16oz can so the taste is NICE..very citrusy and herbal..grassy over-tones. Palate is great a nice tart dry finish. Just a very nice IPA and one Id have again.
