Cask Only. An entirely separate batch based off the Point the Way IPA recipe. Different hops, different yeast, more alcohol and a more aggressive dry hopping schedule.

Pours a light amber color with an orange tint. Aroma is floral and mild. Taste is dry with a bitter aftertaste. The added alcohol content is hidden well. The beer overall was slightly metallic but okay.

Good IPA on tap at the brewery in LA, hoppy ipa, citrus, piney, hazy orange, good

Sampled on cask Thursday. Medium hop nose to it. Quite citra at first followed by a skosh of creaminess. More grains and piney notes as the drinking progresses. I prefer the Point by a hair over this edition.

On cask. Pours with a hazed, deep golden to copper hued body with a lasting white head and good lace. Aromas are very hop forward, citrus, grapefruit, tamarind, grassy and spicy. Minimal bready malt character. Flavors are bitter and dry for an IPA from Golden Road. Grassy dry hop character, citrusy, and tangerine. Very nice hop character. Some bready malt to balance, thankfully not overly sweet or crystal laden. Low carbonation, dry and creamy cask conditioned mouthfeel. Very nice.
