Appearance was hazy orangish gold with lasting whitish creamy 2 finger head, rings of lacing. Aromas are citrus, tropical fruits and hints of sweet pale, caramel malts, no alcohol present. Taste are mild lemon, orange, grapefruit, pine bitterness with spruce. Palate was soft smooth creamy CO2 with medium body, lasting piney medicinal tinnish finish. It was in a can, I’ll try on tap but solid IPA.

UPDATED: JUN 12, 2013 Pours a copper gold color with a white pillowy head. Nice lacing. Aroma is grapefruit and hops upfront with citrucy and some lemon orange peel. Taste follows the aroma perfect with a grapefruit dominant grapefruit character. medium body mouth feel. Very nice brew. Good ipa overall.

Pours clear light copper with thin white head. Light hop aroma a but on the pear side. Decent bitterness is noted and tends to linger. Not astringent. Pretty nice beer.

Pours a clear copper with a foamy white head which disparates quickly. Nice piney aroma. Nice flavor with a slightly bitter aftertaste. Would definitely drink again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma of piney hops, and some bready caramel malt. Flavour of piney hops, a metallic tinge, and some crisp biscuity malts. Nothing special here, but brewed very competently. Good IPA.

A enjoyable beer. Not overly hoppy or bitter. Nice pine flavors, but seemed to be missing citrus or floral notes.

Can. An average if slightly below average IPA? that drinks more like a pale ale. Very mild grapefruit up front with a fair hop aroma. Very thin and watery mouth feel, very average, over priced beer at best! Which seems to be the norm with the beers sampled from Golden Road. I had hoped for more...oh well.

Can. Pours clear amber, medium off white head, nice lacing. NIce citrus and light pine aroma. Flavor is about the same, light passionfruit, light sweet, light bitter. Light body, oily texture. Pretty damn good for the ABV.

Its an average if slightly above average IPA. Strong grapefruit taste and a nice hop smell. Had both on tap at the brewery and poured from the can.
