Clear copper hue, decent head formation. Fresh fruity orange , floral aroma. Mild biscuity malt, but light palate. Hoppy spice from start to finish with a good grapefruit aftertaste. Not a complex IPA, but a nice Tasty easy drinker and pleasingly not too strong either.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
@ Oskar Blues Burning Can Fest 2012. Smells like orange zest and toffee malts. Flavor was nice and crisp with a firm orange citrus tone and some malty sweetness like caramel graininess. Sweet and flavorful and balanced.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured from a pint can into a smaller glass at the Courtyard Marriott in Culver City, Calif. Less than an inch of head. Color was honey amber. Light gray lacing that dissipated very quickly except some light thin spots. Very little film on the side of the glass, just a slight haze.
Really dug the smell. Got a sweet orange citrus flavor up front and then walloped with hops on the back end. Seemed to be some caramel in there. In fact, together it reminded me a bit of the original Sparks.
Surprisingly the opposite of the smell. Got a bitter hops taste right away, giving way to a smooth, orange/tangerine finish. Really digging the taste as well.
Medium body. Oily texture. Average carbonation. Long bitter finish.
Really liked this beer. I love how the orange, tangerine and citrus hops coincide with the bitterness. Want to take some home with me.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Acquired in a trade. Canned March 12th, 2012. Put it right in the fridge and poured into a Hill Farmstead Glass
A - SRM of 8. Golden orange appearance, some cloudiness on the pour that looked pretty resinous. Slightly off-white head of 2 fingers that subsided slowly leaving behind a super sticky lacing on every corner of the glass.
S - Gigantic citrus notes. A hint of resin and a minor bit of pine but very little.Nice big hop characteristics followed by some herbs.
T - Spicy Vanilla is what I get first. Peppered Vanilla? Not too sure. Backbone of pine, grass and tangerines. Lemon zest and some basil.
M - Medium body, 80% carbonation on the mouth swish. Lingering orange peel taste
O - Delicious. Itís a solid IPA with extra points for being canned. Would be a great fishing companion.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Can from Bine & Vine. Pours light golden amber with a transient fizzy white head. Aromas of warm caramel and floral/citrus (or maybe floral/resin). About med body. Moderate carb. Flavor is a little papery, a little peppery, a little malty, and floral, maybe with citrus. Itís certainly bitter, but it reminds a bit of the old Beemanís gum. Spicy/peppery. Finishes with bitter and flavor, but somehow it lacks substance. I putting this down as a great session beer, assuming the session doesnít last too long.

4.9 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 20/20
Beautiful beer, chose it from a line-up and was thoroughly impressed. Stands up to the best in the IPA world, and does it without the overbearing high ABV most IPAs have. (smart step out of the BJCP guidelines) Small Brewery so you get the quality most well-worn IPAs lack. Hope they keep it up!

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: JUN 28, 2013 Pour out of 16 oz can, thanks to Aaron...I guess. Pour is cardboard, lemon, slight biscuit, and bready, hints of slight sweaty sock as well, some mineral notes. Taste is some biscuit, vanilla, some slight grass and pine, off cardboard, sweaty funky notes, hints of minerals, slight sour-ish note, finishing fairly sweet. Yikes.
Rerate: fresh can, not infected. Much better, clean biscuit, lemon, grass and pine notes, slight citrus as well. Nice.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: JAN 29, 2013 Can from the brewery. Pours a light amber/golden color with frothy white head. Aroma is very pine, grapefruit and hoppy. Taste is a light bitter hop, pine, citrus, slight sweetness and some light biscuit malt. Overall, this was crazy good from a brewery that Iíd heard nothing about that is almost in my backyard. At only 5.2% this is going to be my local go to camping beer.
