Drank from the can. Aroma of faint citrus and pine. The taste was a bit odd, almost had a ham sandwich taste. I guess I was expecting more. With so many great IPAs on the market, I wouldn’t reach for this one again.

dukeredhair (242) - California, USA - NOV 12, 2012
Aroma light citrus and pine pretty standard and a little flat ont he nose. Appearance is amber with 2 finger head minimal lacing taste is flat follows aroma and sweet backend but nothing interesting palate is oddly thick for a "session" IPA pretty un-refreshing overall I’m not looking to try this again.

Mild citrus aroma. Light looking and light bodied...small white head on tap. Taste is less hoppy - almost nutty...strong sesame seed flavor. Finishes tart.

Bottle; poured a dull gold color with a big frothy head. Aroma of grapefruit, BO, fruit, earth, must, and yeast. Flavor was a bit watered down; not all that aggressive. Bready gives way to earthy and fruity finish. Ok.

A - Pours a clear amber-orange with a finger of frothy white head. The head fades down at a normal pace leaving behind some lacing. S - Aroma is a mix of grapefruit, citrus, grassy, and pine hops with some sweet caramel malts. T - Starts off with a mix of grapefruit, orange, and citrus hops with some bitterness and some sweet caramel malts. Through the middle, the pine and grassy hops come through with some more resiny bitterness and a bit of bready malts. The finish is a mix of grapefruit and piney hops with some resiny bitterness and some sweet caramel malts. M - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Feels smooth with a dry and bitter finish. D - Very drinkable. Nice resiny hop profile and good bitterness.

Strong pines and hops on the nose. See through amber/copper with a relatively large foam at the top. Huge mouthful of piney hops and grapefruit overtones. Subtle caramel and oat malts support a massive hop attack on the palate. Overall, I am actually really impressed with this brew. It’s full bodied and hops off the charts. Perfect balance and flavor. I’d give this an A+ rating.

Can from While Foods. Bright pine/citrus IPA, clear and golden with a frothy head. Dry bitter finish.

Can. Pours amber orange with an off white head. Flowery and fruity hops, very good balancing of bitterness and hop flavor. Lightly sweet malty base, just enough to support without getting in the way. A nice flavorful and relatively low ABV IPA.

Sampled at an ESBLS tasting. From Kenny. Clear and golden with a smallish white head. Light carbonation. A nice citrus hop bite from the first sip. Softer malts are a nice backbone. Some onion vegetable flavor does not help.

3/18/12 notes: Draft at brewpub. Grapefruit pith, flowers, minty aroma. Flavor hits with juicy ripe citrus first, then some yeasty fruit kicks in, doughy through middle. Soft palate and carbonation. Finish has medium bitterness and some flinty sharpness.
