Drank from the can. Aroma of faint citrus and pine. The taste was a bit odd, almost had a ham sandwich taste. I guess I was expecting more. With so many great IPAs on the market, I wouldn’t reach for this one again.

Can from Tom - thanks! Yellow gold pour with a white head. Aroma is dank and citrus. Good flavor and soft on the edges - not overly bitter. Nice.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Growler at Clark’s Superbowl party in West Hollywood. I’m rating from memory and it’s really hard to remember anything but that catastrophic play call from Pete Carroll, but here we go. Nice hazy light brown pour. Big leafy aroma, quite dank -- a welcome change from either the old school pine resin and citrus or the new school tropical fruit and onions. I like it a lot. The flavor isn’t as outstanding, more like a classic West Coast IPA, but it’s good. The beer is quite quaffable, and I went through my share and then some before the Seahawks managed to give away the game.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours amber with a fading head.
Nose shows herbal, piny and spicy hops along with slightly sweet biscuity malt.
Pretty hoppy flavours, mainly sticking to piny and spicy hops. Some soft clean malt in the background.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pour is a bright hazy orange with a huge white head. Aroma is plenty of tropical fruit hoppyness. Flavor is more a dank resin hop with maybe a little pine. I wish the flavor would of had more of the tropical fruit I got in the aroma. Still this is pretty solid IPA.

Can. Pours a clear gold/yellow with a small head that dissipates quickly. Frangipane and tropical mango, pineapple and grapefruit on the nose. Salted caramel, and piney tropical punch flavours. Quite high carbonation which doesn’t detract from the beer
