4.9 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 20/20
Beautiful beer, chose it from a line-up and was thoroughly impressed. Stands up to the best in the IPA world, and does it without the overbearing high ABV most IPAs have. (smart step out of the BJCP guidelines) Small Brewery so you get the quality most well-worn IPAs lack. Hope they keep it up!

This beer should be a perfect 5, but it’s hard to give the nuts to a beer with only 5.2%. These guys have done an outstanding job making an approachable IPA. KUDOS

Point The Way has the taste, smell, look and mouthfeel consistent with top shelf California IPA’s like Union Jack 7.5%, Torpedo 7%, Alesmith IPA 7%, Sculpin 7% etc At 5.2% Point The way delivers on the promise of a satisfying hoppy beer with a lot less booze.

I like this a lot - much less sweet and fruity than Wolf - more herbal and bitter - not complex, a bit watery but very very quaffable and refreshing - a very good drink.

4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Aroma is of floral hops citrus and soft malts. Burnt orange color. Thick foamy three finger head with excellent retention. Initial taste of citrus. Orange and grapefruit. Malt comes in softly and balances out the resounding floral hops and spice notes. Cascade and Amarillo. Spices linger on the pallatte. Overall an excellent take on a common style of beer. Definitely one of the more balanced IPA’s I?ve ever had. Excellent drinkabilty. Worth having another!

I like the concept of a fruity and bittersweet IPA that is low ABV. I was surprised how well this beer pulls it off.
Very drinkable, if anything too drinkable. I can drink a six-pack in a sitting, and their 16oz cans!

Beautifully crafted beer, aroma is completely intoxicating. Taste is on point with a nice bite at the end. Lacing is very noticeable with a beautiful golden glow. Overall a solid choice for an ipa during any occasion.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Best low alcohol IPA I have ever had. Low alcohol brings out the amazing grapefruit and citrus notes and makes this a daily drinker. 16 oz can is also awesome. Color is pale golden. One of my favorites!

On draft at Beer Revolution. This was a really nice surprise. It pours a beautiful golden color with a very rich, creamy white head. The aroma is nicely fresh hoppy with grass and some tropical fruit with a hint of caramel malt. The flavor is nicely balanced yet hop forward for a lower alcohol IPA. I picked up grass, canteloupe, tropical fruit, and just a hint of caramel sweetness. It had a nice bitter finish. This reminded me of Firestone Pale 31, only with a tad more malt balance. I’m impressed.
