Can. An average if slightly below average IPA? that drinks more like a pale ale. Very mild grapefruit up front with a fair hop aroma. Very thin and watery mouth feel, very average, over priced beer at best! Which seems to be the norm with the beers sampled from Golden Road. I had hoped for more...oh well.

Pours a finger and half of head on a clear straw colored body. The aroma is a nice citrus smell. Easy. The taste is bold but balanced. Lots of lemon and grapefruit bitterness with a touch of pineapple. The texture is crisp with moderate carbonation. Itís a tasty IPA.

On tap at Lazy Dog. Pours yellow, not much aroma. Flavor lacks the hoppiness of an IPA. More like an amber style, heavy on the malt. Not much bitterness in the finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

ON TAP ($3.75 per pint) This is a really mediocre IPA. has a metallic bitter taste that overpowers the entire beer. Pretty gross actually. At 5.9% its a very lightweight IPA.

Can. Hazy gold. The nose is grapefruit with some pine. The taste adds more west coast citrusy hops and resins. Dry finish, medium carb. Pretty good, not great ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From a can at a restaurant in Marina del Ray. Not much aroma to it. Lots of hop character, but it was all over on the palate. I was a little disappointed.

Tallboy can. A solid IPA for a decent price single tallboy. Lots of west coast hops, citrus, a bit resiny. Some decent lacing. Not bad at all and a pretty big flavor for a reasonable ABV.

Can. Clear dark gold with a big fluffy white head and lots of lacing. Aroma is pine, melon and some caramel malt. Taste follows suit pretty directly and adds a citrusy finish. Creamy mouthfeel with moderate carb. Not bad.

Drank at LAX. Golden with fluffy white head. Citrus hops aroma. Taste is piney citrus, kind of resinous. Dry finish. Good but not great IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Purchased at a Vonnís in Los Angeles, CA; enjoyed after walking around Culver City. Meh, not very good, their Weiss is better.
