I like the canís art more than the beer and the beerís flavor. It has a lager-like quality, like a hoppy pils. Itís weird. Kinda hard mouthfeel. Lackluster flavor. Smelled good though, smelled fresh.

Draft. Brilliantly clear liquid gold with a fluffy head of cloud-white. Hop aroma is very mild -- I struggle to pick up much of it at all. Maybe a little lime peel, but itís faint. More apparent is an earthy honey note, as well as rose petals. The flavor has none of the bright, West Coast-style flavors the brewery describes; instead the beer exhibits soft, floral bitterness. The orange blossom honey picked up in the nose is here as well, adding a sweetness to the front of the flavor thatís completely eradicated at the swallow. Very dry, balanced finish. Body is a velvety medium; CO2 is mild. A good IPA to have several of -- what this one lacks in zippy hop flavor, it makes up for in drinkability.

A good IPA drank on tap at Mohawk Bend in LA. A golden appearance good hoppy taste with citrus. At 5.9% a very drinkable IPA

Draft at the brewery. Pours clear gold with a creamy off white head. Tastes like light citrus, grapefruit fruit, lemon, a hint of caramel, floral, and pine. Light /medium body and carbonation. Smells like grapefruit and lemon hops, toast, light pine and caramel.

16oz can. Yellow, hazy. Holds a small white head. Nose has resin and citrus. Taste has bread and grapefruity hops. Light finishing bitterness, some resiny bite and citrus aftertastes. Good.

Hazy golden color with small head. Dry, pungent, with a good crackery malt backbone, and very good quality hopping: in other words a deeply satisfying IPA. The hops are fairly resiny, and with citrus fruit component too; there are fruitier IPAs out there, this one is more appropriate for a sunny afternoon.

Can from Tom - thanks! Yellow gold pour with a white head. Aroma is dank and citrus. Good flavor and soft on the edges - not overly bitter. Nice.

Growler at Clarkís Superbowl party in West Hollywood. Iím rating from memory and itís really hard to remember anything but that catastrophic play call from Pete Carroll, but here we go. Nice hazy light brown pour. Big leafy aroma, quite dank -- a welcome change from either the old school pine resin and citrus or the new school tropical fruit and onions. I like it a lot. The flavor isnít as outstanding, more like a classic West Coast IPA, but itís good. The beer is quite quaffable, and I went through my share and then some before the Seahawks managed to give away the game.
