COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer is a balanced showcase of the majestic hop specie, in Latin, Humulus Lupulus, which translates “Wolf Among Weeds”. It’s our celebration of California’s enthusiasm for hop-forward IPAs. At 8%, Wolf will sneak up on you from behind the robust citrus and dank earthy hop notes mirrored in its aroma and flavour profile.

grassy, lemon zest, dried pineapple, candied orange, sweet biscuit, pine. moderate bitterness on the finish offset by a sturdy, simple doughy sweetness.

Too heavy on taste of alcohol. Over bitter and not sophisticated. After taste not great.

Although this is a wonderful colour of piss, piss it is not - an excellent fruit-salad-y APA with a tinge of herbaceousness - malt in the back seat but well balanced - alcohol invisible - super easy to smash - malt gives a lot of sweetness which is the only detractor for me as I prefer more bitterness than sweetness. A damn fine drink.

4 pack of pints in cans for $10 from Costco. Pours light golden, clear, small but thick white head. Smells pretty good - typical IPA stuff...muted pineapple, peach, pine tree. Taste starts a little like a belgian - grassy, bready, but then the aftertaste kicks in. Good sticky dank IPA but then goes to a bitter, chemical like after aftertaste. Medium to thin body, lightly carbonated - actually drinkable. Alcohol @ 8% is hidden like good IPAs, just the bitter, aftertaste is a little nasty and doesn’t go away quickly. Good, not great (or different) LA IPA/DIPA.

Not a bad first impression from Golden Road, but there are a lot of IPAs out there, and most of them are better than this attempt. Nice hops choice, but it doesn’t come together for me. 16oz cans (please keep in mind, always, that LA is a hell hole, thank you)

16 oz can. Clear gold with a frothy white head. Nose is toffee, orange banana and pine. Oily medium body with a buzz. Taste is grilled pineapple, orange peel and pine.

Pours a finger and half of head on a clear light straw body. The aroma is bright citrus with an earthy background. The taste is moderate lemon and grapefruit bitterness, a little sweet note, then dank pine finish. The texture is thicker. Enjoyable.

From can. Pours light straw color with strong pine aroma. Delicious flavour and modest and controlled bitterness. Smashing beer

Can clear nice head. Light hops and sweet malts flavor is fair with nice balance of malt and hops but slightly sweet.
