COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This beer is a balanced showcase of the majestic hop specie, in Latin, Humulus Lupulus, which translates “Wolf Among Weeds”. It’s our celebration of California’s enthusiasm for hop-forward IPAs. At 8%, Wolf will sneak up on you from behind the robust citrus and dank earthy hop notes mirrored in its aroma and flavour profile.

Golden pour with thick soapy head. Very resinous smelling(canned 5-1-13) notes of vanilla and grapefruit citrus. Taste is more malt forward but ends with nice refreshing bitter hops lemony zing.

Draft. Pours a medium, gradually collapsing, off white head, over a slightly hazy yellow (SRM 3) body.......nose is pine, resin, grapefruit peel, mildly dank, light malts, balance to the hops.......taste is mild malts, pine, resin grapefruit peel, light tropical fruits, mild melon, slightly dank, balance to the hps.......mouth feel, light of medium body, mild alcohol, high carbonation. This is a very typical rendition of the newer style IPA and I/DIPA with minimal malts, to allow the newer style of hops to dominate in both aroma and flavor. Rating above to appreciation, below to style. BJCP 8/4/14/4/7

1 pint can - pours a clear light yellow with a med off white head. Nice aroma with notes of citrus zests, grass and some pine as well. A mouthful reveals a layered hop bouquet and a minimal malt content. Not bad

Tap at LAX. This is pretty great. Bright yellow pour. Bright nose of citrus and dank hops. Bold hoppy taste with a well balanced finish. Yum.

Hazy darker golden color with a small, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral hops, tropical fruits, citrus, toast. Taste was tropical fruits, citrus, toffee, grapefruit.

grassy, lemon zest, dried pineapple, candied orange, sweet biscuit, pine. moderate bitterness on the finish offset by a sturdy, simple doughy sweetness.

Too heavy on taste of alcohol. Over bitter and not sophisticated. After taste not great.

Although this is a wonderful colour of piss, piss it is not - an excellent fruit-salad-y APA with a tinge of herbaceousness - malt in the back seat but well balanced - alcohol invisible - super easy to smash - malt gives a lot of sweetness which is the only detractor for me as I prefer more bitterness than sweetness. A damn fine drink.
