Cask (gravity) - Norwich Beer Festival 2012. Poured a clear chestnut brown with a bubbly, creamy and lasting off-white head. Subtle grapefruit, pine and resin aromas. slight roasted malt and coffee flavour with citrus and pine beneath all lingering well into the finish. Some biscuity pale malt in the aftertaste to boot. Soft, light to medium body with a good depth of flavour throughout.

Cask at GBBF 2015. It pours clear brown with a small beige head. The nose is soft, rich roast, red fruits, jam, dried berry and dull pine notes. The taste is bitter, charred wood, toast, roasted malt, leather, bitter-sweet character and pepper. Medium body and fine carbonation. Simple and easy-going. Not particularly hoppy in my opinion…
