Cask (handpump) at the Murderers, Norwich on 1 December 2011. Bright mid-gold colour. LIvely condition. A clean, straightforward and quite dry golden ale. Could have done with a rather more zingy and assertive hop punch but perfectly decent and did the job well enough.

Cask@The Murderers, Norwich. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity and floral with some mild wooden notes as well as some maltyness. Flavour is leathey, fruity, wooden, quite herbal and earthy as well. Big bitter floral and leathery finish.

Cask - The Kings Head, Norwich. Clear, pale golden with a creamy, lasting white head atop leaving a heavy lace. Crisp, zesty citrus profile. Toasty, crispy underlying malt aromas. Lemon, delicate grapefruit, some toastiness & a pale malt sweetness. Soft palate, light to medium body, lingering dryish crisp & hoppy finish.
