Angeloregon (1898), Portland, Oregon, USA Jun 28, 2008 On tap at GVB--Ultra light amber, mostly golden body with no head. Creamy, caramel maltiness with mildly floral hops. Very astringent and crisp cereal finish. Nice. Ungstrup (11154), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 24, 2008 Draft at the brewpub. A golden beer with a slight haze under a thin white head. The aroma is sweet with grassy notes of hops. The flavor is sweet grassy combined with notes of malt and a light touch of spicy hops, leading to a dry bitter finish. spikester (413), Salem, Oregon, USA Jan 25, 2008 Updated: Aug 21, 2008From a 12 ounce brown bottle. Poured into a 12 ounce clear glass tumbler. Enormous white head atop an orange-amber beer. Big aroma of hops and citrus. Very slightly bitter finish. Never did get the head less than about 3 inches. Dimpled cloud-like head. Truly a sessionable APA. Will be trying the on-tap version when I can. Kudos to Golden Valley Brewery for the label design...Very distinctive and classy. Good session APA. Ale_Drinker (1072), Sunnyvale, California, USA Nov 27, 2007 Decent pale ale that strikes a nice balance between the citrus hops and caramel malt. Easy drinking session beer. linc33 (136), Albany, New York, USA Jul 2, 2006 On tap at Golden Valley Brewery. Copper coloured. Light hop in the mouth and strong, over-hopped bitterness in the finish. Slight citrus also. Definitely the best one here, but not worth purchasing.
