Slightly hazy yellow gold, strong thick white head. Sweet grassy aroma, like wheatgrass juice and hibiscus. Little cardboard, also tastes like the way new carpet smells. Strange. Tingly on the palate, finishes bubbly and odd with lemon juice.

On tap at the brewpub. A mild American Pale Ale. Light caramel background with a mild hoppy profile throughout. Nothing stands out with this brew.

Another bottle shared on the 4th- Slight hazy amber with little head. Low carbonation, light hops on the nose. Thin, grassy mild and mellow.

Brewed in the USA...... 4th of July bash. Pours a hazy yellowish color with zero head. Aroma of citrus, mild hops, and caramel. Taste of grass, very mild hops and malts. The mouthfeel is thin and kind of soapy, very strange?

Apperance is galden brown with slow fading white head, aroma pale malt with hints of floral hops. flavor has an interesting mix little bit of caramel floral hops, has a slight after taste that I am not to fond of.

Larger hop profile than many pale ales. Not quite buttery like an extra, but enough mixture or styles. Earthier hops.

Bad bottle? Perhaps. Never has a beer looked so good and tasted so goddamn bad. Sour, yeasty, and excessively tart all woven into a beautiful hazy golden body with a mountainous, white fluffy head. Quality control in dire need.

On tap at GVB--Ultra light amber, mostly golden body with no head. Creamy, caramel maltiness with mildly floral hops. Very astringent and crisp cereal finish. Nice.

Draft at the brewpub. A golden beer with a slight haze under a thin white head. The aroma is sweet with grassy notes of hops. The flavor is sweet grassy combined with notes of malt and a light touch of spicy hops, leading to a dry bitter finish.

UPDATED: AUG 21, 2008 From a 12 ounce brown bottle. Poured into a 12 ounce clear glass tumbler. Enormous white head atop an orange-amber beer. Big aroma of hops and citrus. Very slightly bitter finish. Never did get the head less than about 3 inches. Dimpled cloud-like head. Truly a sessionable APA. Will be trying the on-tap version when I can. Kudos to Golden Valley Brewery for the label design...Very distinctive and classy. Good session APA.
