3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 spikester (602) - Salem, Oregon, USA - MAR 5, 2008
UPDATED: OCT 29, 2008 Poured hazy amber color from a bomber, minimal head good lacing.
Aroma was a bit of fruity hops.
Flavor is bitter citrus hops with a fair amount of malt backing. Not as crisp as I expect of an IPA. Very smooth though. Could be a session brew. Will try on tap in the future. This beer is hard to find even in Oregon where it is brewed. I have to admit I’ve had APA’s that had more hops. Nice mild IPA.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 ABUSEDGOAT (1937) - California, USA - FEB 24, 2008
Hazy orange, large head with good lacing and retention. Aroma is floral, spicy and citric hops. Some caramel backing. All in all, very light. Would make a light APA even. Medium to light body, very low bitterness. Bland.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 AleDrinker (1090) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - NOV 27, 2007
Bold citrus aromas are accompanied by caramel malt. Flavors a semi-sweet with a bitter finish. Pretty decent IPA.
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 bhensonb (9004) - Woodland, California, USA - NOV 1, 2007
Bomber from Liquid Solutions. Firm citrus aroma backed by a bit of roasted malt. Slightly hazy orange amber color with a head that never really arrived. Medium body with fizzy carbonation. The flavor is citrus hop fairly well balanced with caramel malt. Grapefruit is noticeable. Very nice feel. The finish is less than dry but really set off by decent bitter. This may be underrated, or perhaps I got lucky with this bottle.
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 jgb9348 (3970) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - OCT 26, 2007
Hazy golden/orange coloured body with a very thick tan coloured head that lasts quite a while for a year-old beer. Aroma of fresh lemons, oranges, hops (of course) and some white sugar. Medium-bodied; Strong hoppy flavour up front with a good malty kick and a subtle sweetness fading to a pleasant bitterness. Aftertaste shows more of the same, a good malt backbone with potent hops up more noticeable. Overall, a decent IPA - nothing amazing...but good to try! I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Whole Foods in Portland, Oregon, purchased one year ago, sampled on 26-October-2007.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 bb (5888) - Alamo, California, USA - SEP 12, 2007

3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Tejas (800) - Dallas, Texas, USA - AUG 18, 2007
UPDATED: AUG 21, 2007 Hmmm, sort of avg. Could stand to be hoppier. Flavor seemed off to me. Sort of taste like a messed up hoppy pils. Can’t believe I paid to have this one shipped in too. What a dumbass I am. Thought for sure I looked at the rating first. Wouldn’t have purchased it w/ only a 52 rating since there were better choices. Oh, and I rated it from notes w/o being influenced by the avg. rating.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 MIBRomeo (2346) - Wisconsin, USA - AUG 6, 2007
straw yellow color some particles in suspension, huge foamy white head, lots of sticky lacing. Stale hop aroma, some citrus & light pines, very mellow. avg pal. Mellow to light flavor hints of citurs & pine w/ a touch of carmel. Easy to drink, astringent finish that goes well w/ sharp aged cheddar, and not as well alone.
