ChainGangGuy (1463), Kennesaw, Georgia, USA Jul 12, 2008 Appearance: Pours a slightly hazy, pale orange body with a thin ring of white bubbles.
Smell: A rather restrained aroma. Inhaling nasally like a coke-fiend yields notes of flowers, citrus, and spiced honey.
Taste: Honeyish maltiness with a quick, though mild, burst of spice. Floral and citrus hop character. Medium bitterness. Finishes bitter and questionably watery.
Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Medium carbonation. A tad bit watery, I must admit.
Drinkability: Certainly not the best India Pale Ale rolling around out there. ratman197 (2190), Arvada, Colorado, USA Jul 3, 2008 Bomber poured a clear amber with a small lasting off white head. Aromas of carmel, earthiness, graininess and light spice. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a slightly dry finish. Flavors of carmel, earthiness, light pine and a hint of spice with a smootrh moderatly bitter finish. Angeloregon (1549), Portland, Oregon, USA Jun 28, 2008 On tap at the source in McMinnville, OR--Bright copper-amber body with a thin white head. Sticky, floral, grassy yet creamy hops. Finished creamy, clean and a little thin. Not much lingering hoppiness. Ungstrup (10863), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 24, 2008 Draft at the brewpub as Chehalem Mountain IPA. A hazy golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet malty and citrusy. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of grass from the hops, leading to a dry bitter finish where the grass sticks on the tongue. Rogueone (311), I F&ckin’ hate those guys from, Ohio, USA May 27, 2008 Bottle: pours a yellow-orange with thick white head. Heavy pine aroma, some caramel malt. Flavor is extremely malty, caramel, lacking bitterness to totally round it out as a strong example for an IPA.
