Bottle: Amberish, slight haze, a little fiery and dark, thin sudsy off-white head, dies quickly, sparce
lacing. Sweet mealy nose, slight breadiness, a bit of unripened melon. Really mealy on the tongue.
Some biscuit and breadiness, pale fruitiness. Seems a little heavy in its sweetness, but not really in body.
As it warms I get some alcohol coming out. Somewhat sticky. Body and mouthfeel are moderate, albeit
its a bit sugary and clingy. Its okay, but seems a little unrefined. Not all that smooth, and certainly
wouldnt reach for another after finishing this 22oz. A little too sweet in my opinion.

Draft @ the Brewpub. Pours a clear golden color with a small off-white head. Has a sweetish grainy malty aroma. Sweetish malty grainy caramel flavor. Has a sweetish malty caramel finish.

Hazy amber with minimal head and good lacings. Interesting flavors. Sweet malts with a slightly bitter hop profile. A bit of sweet and sour going on here. A refreshing brew that was quite enjoyable.

From a 12 oz. bottle--a distinctive burnt sienna/copper colored lager with an outstanding malt taste and pleasing hop undertones. Though it is debatable whether this bock is a "true lager" as noted by the brewery, the hint of apple in this beer is far from overbearing. This bock finishes quite smooth though a little dull.

12oz bottle. Poured a medium and hazy golden color with a small sized head. Aromas of grains, some caramel, toasted malts, and lightly nutty. Tastes of caramel, honey sweetness, bready, and citrus.

Bottle Malty aroma with citrus tones. Poured pale brown with white head. Malty flavour, with an unpleasant big swath of molasses in the middle of it. Bready finish, with more molasses. I admit I’m not familiar with the Heiliges Geist bock style, but I would not seek this out. It could be I just don’t like the style.

LIght aroma of darker malt. Barely detectable hop. Amber color with an off-white head that is almost respectable. Low carbonation. Starts with sweet malt, though not dark, and there seems to be a bit of lemon. There is not much bitter, so it’s more about malt. The beer sort of drops off. The malt and flavor go away. The mouth is left with some sour/citrus, some herb/veg, but no real bitterness. It is what it is.
