3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cask (Bayerishe Anstich) at Akkurat, Stockholm. Hazy dark bronze colour, rocky head. Buttery malt aroma with a whiff of vegetables. Medium sweet with soft, well rounded mouthfeel. Salty finish with grassy bitterness. A mild and nicely malty very drinkable beer, but the vegetables in the nose distracts.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On draught (in the brewery yard): Copper coloured, huge, lasting off-white head; fine herbal hoppy aroma; starts malty, malty flavour also, becoming more and more bitter towards the finish; quite fizzy, ligjt bodied, very creamy texture. A very good example of a typical franconian Lager; worth a detour..........

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle, from Landbierparadies shop, Nürnberg. Copper, excellent fluffy white lasting head and moderate condition. Trace malt at start then good emerging hop aromas that are peppery and almost grassy at times. Some gentle grain in the mouth but the Pilsener like hoppiness dominates, becoming quite dry in the finish. Some lingering malt and peppery hop resin notes.

Hops and wood in the aroma. Sweet, malty taste. Very fruity (pear, mango). Dusty and woody. Very nice beer from a small village brewery.
