3fourths (8100) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - DEC 25, 2012
bottle at Goldener Lowe in Drugendorf. 4.6 %, two months in the bottle.
clear gold body with a medium-sized white head. excellently clean with mild notes of toasted pale malt; minimal hop expression; light sweetness; good carbonation froth to release the fullness of malt and stopping it from creeping to far to the sweet side on the back of the palate. quaffable, crisp, quenching. it’s quite a basic beer, though no off-notes to be found, the pale malt does come across just a *tad* too close to corn syrup. it’s not a major annoyance, it’s small, but it’s there. that said, the release of carbonation and mild husk tannins and lingering baked cracker and sourdough flavor in the finish is quite enjoyable

It’s yellow-golden with a creamy, white head, and the aroma has notes of malt, straw and a touch of bread. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of malt, straw, bread and light fruit/flower. The finish is dry with a light bitterness.

Beershine (5218) - The Sunshine State, Florida, USA - SEP 4, 2009
Bottle, from brewery. Bright gold with 1/2 inch thick head with good retention. Nice aroma has really fresh cereal grain and spicy hops. Nice quaffable palate. This one is sweeter than the edel-pils is with less hop character but also has less stickiness in the palate and great granularity in the body. Quaffable and good.

Golden, bright. Light malt-accented nose. Malt accented palate is clean. Tasty, bready character with light supporting hop base that carries a slightly grassy accent.
