work hard to brew the best beer around. The news has already spread ó drinking Goldmine is a richly rewarding experience.

NOTE: This is the same beer as Copper Bell Lager, renamed due to legal action from Bellís. Brewed for Whole Foods Market.

12oz can (courtesy of Headbanger) poured into a Shaker at 48į. Color is a light gold with light carbonation and a very thin white head. Aroma of grain, corn and something sour. It has a light body and creamy mouth feel. Flavor is sweet giving a honey like taste on top of grain, corn and a faint note of hops. After taste is clean, just some remnants of the honey briefly lingering. Overall itís not a brew I would seek out; itís not bad just oddly sweet.

Sweetish, malty aroma, with a little off sulphuriness. Bright yellow, big white head, bright red/yellow can. A little mineral, a little straw, lightly sweet. Medium light body, lingering cheap malt and grain-husk bitter finish. The main calling card might be that a sixer of this is only $3.99. Whole Foods, Tallahassee.

Can at Sanderís in NYC. Pours clear gold with a fine, creamy white head. Aroma has lots of simple cereal, grains, sugary bread. Light to medium sweet flavor with further cereal grains, mellow bitter hay, sugar. Light bodied with average carbonation. Sweet, lightly bready finish, more sugary cereal, hay. Very basic but easy to drink.

Tastes just like a Budweiser but with lighter body and more butter flavor. 4 bucks a six, I think.

Can poured a clear pale yellow with a small lingering white head. Aromas of bread and light spicy hops. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of bread and light sraw with a crisp finish.

This is your pretty typical cheap Lager. It is easy to drink and not offensive. I picked it up for $2.99 at whole foods. A good value for the money. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Whole Foodís PBR clone that they sell as a brand name. It is like any other cheaply produced adjunct lager.

12oz can pours a clear gold with some frothy white head which faded fast. Nose of canned corn, honey, straw, white bread. Flavors of apple cider, white bread, corn. Light finish. Itís not craft, but itís not crap.

Decent lager for a $3 six pack. Definitely holds itís own compared to other mass produced lagers. Best to drink as cold as possible. Taste is pale and grainy and grassy. Has an almost herby taste in the middle of the palate. Decent body for for a cheap lager. Has a tiny bit of skunky aftertaste but it doesnít linger on the palate. I could drink more of this on a hot summer day or camping. You canít beat it for just $3.
